Practice Areas


Practicing primarily in the Gulf Coast region from south Alabama to the Florida panhandle, Brad Adams advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters arising under state and federal laws. His practice is primarily devoted to defending employers in connection with claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations and other employment-related issues in state and federal courts and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other administrative agencies.

Additionally, Brad counsels and trains employers on strategies for minimizing the risk of employment litigation, conducts employment practices audits and assists employers with the development of employment policies, handbooks and agreements and other materials pertaining to the employment relationship. Brad also works with clients operating in the rapidly expanding “gig economy” and generally sourcing work through innovative and technology-driven approaches.

Prior to joining Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon in August 2018, Brad was a shareholder with Littler Mendelson, P.C., which he joined in 2005.  Brad also practiced in the Labor and Employment law group of Powell Goldstein LLP in Atlanta, which he joined in 1999.
