ESC announces Benjamin T. Shell as shareholder

Pensacola, FLA. (January 4, 2021) – Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon (ESC) is pleased to announce that Benjamin T. Shell has become a shareholder with the firm.

Benjamin T. Shell “Ben” is a litigation attorney who practices Personal Injury Law and First Party Property Law, including matters involving automobile accidents, wrongful death, first party property (hurricane) claims, and bad faith litigation. Prior to joining ESC in 2017, Ben served as defense counsel for Fortune 500 insurance companies and corporate clients, giving him a unique perspective into how insurance companies view and evaluate certain claims, thus allowing him to strategically navigate the litigation process in the manner most advantageous to his clients.

“The firm is very pleased and excited to welcome Ben to the ranks of shareholder,” said Wes Reeder, ESC Firm President. “Ben has long proven himself to be a skilled and capable attorney who represents his clients with total commitment and professionalism. He is certainly already a valuable practitioner within our firm and his advancement to shareholder recognizes our confidence in his leadership abilities as well.”

Ben is also a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar, was selected as an InWeekly Rising Star in 2018, and has won runner-up in InWeekly’s Best of the Coast “Best Lawyer” category in 2018, 2019, and 2020. In the community, he serves as a governing board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida.
