Marilee L. Butler joins Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon as an associate attorney and works alongside our esteemed Personal Injury Team.
Marilee received her law degree from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While there, Marilee served as Chief Judge of the Trial Advocacy Board and mentored incoming law students through the Career Development Advisory Board. As a member of Cumberland’s trial team, ranked 4th in the nation at the time of her graduation, Marilee received the Michael V. Rasmussen Excellence in Advocacy Award, the Outstanding Advocate Award at the University of South Carolina’s National Trial Competition, and was a winner of the American Association for Justice Regional Trial Advocacy Competition.
Before law school, Marilee grew up in North Alabama and graduated summa cum laude from Troy University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in multimedia journalism and advertising media.
After clerking with Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon in 2023, Marilee passed the Florida Bar and returned as an associate, eager to devote her skills to each client’s case.
