Robert A. Emmanuel graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1976, earning a degree in economics and government. He then attended Duke University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate degree in 1979.
He joined Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon upon graduation and for more than 40 years, has practiced in the areas of construction, business, and land use law.
He regularly advises businesses on development matters and contract litigation. He is especially involved in construction law, regularly representing contractors, sub-contractors, owners, architects, and engineers in contracting and litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations.
Robert served on The Inaugural Florida Bar Construction Law Certification Committee from 2005 to 2010. He has been named a Super Lawyer in the field of Construction Law for over 10 years.
