Van P. Geeker practices primarily in the areas of federal taxation, estate planning, probate, and trust administration. He frequently represents clients with IRS tax controversies. Van holds a Master of Tax Law (LL.M.) degree in addition to his J.D. and has had an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell since 1998.
Van served as an Adjunct Professor of Tax Law at Florida State University College of Law from 1996 to 2003 and is a former member of the Executive Council, Tax Section, of The Florida Bar.
A native of Pensacola, Florida, Van returned home to join Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon in 2012 after practicing in Tallahassee for 30 years. He now resides and works full-time in the firm’s office in the Miramar Beach area in South Walton County but is available for consultation in the Pensacola and Tallahassee offices.
